Appeal to the Bar Council of India

Any person aggrieved by an order of the State Bar Council Disciplinary Committee can within sixty days file any appeal before Bar Council of India. Such appeals are heard by the Disciplinary Committee of the Bar Council of India which can pass such an order, including an order, varying the punishment awarded as it deems fit. This is done after giving a hearing to both the parties.
