The Constitution of India-Federal One

The Union of India is a federal Union, with a distribution of powers, of which the Judiciary is the interpreter. Although there has been considerable controversy whether India is or not a federation and although some writers have called it "quasi-federal", it would seem that essentially the Constitution of India is a federal one:
